Love Stations

Many people around the world still stay tuned to radio stations despite the popping up of numerous portable music players like iPods or mp3 players. Why do so many people still stay tuned to radio stations aside from listening to on the current events or to the newest or coolest songs that rank top on the chart? Well, one of the reasons radio programs have been popular is because of the music since it is considered the very first media ever and like before dramas are still being voiced over on the radio, also aside from offering the most latest news and songs and bands to the masses they also have interactive programs which I think is the main focus of the whole populace who religiously tune into every stations around the world. Even I used to hang out with my friends doing just that. We would always have this very convenient radio with us and gather around the phone to call the station every time a topic interests us. 

But enough about that, since we all know that there are also some interactive programs on live television it also comes into mind about the topics a DJ could highly expect to have most responders. You could usually find listeners calling in when the topics about love, domestic life, or latest songs. What’s great about these sessions is that when you ask about something or need some advice about a situation you are in the DJs would answer you with all sincerity and show genuine affection towards the caller, so don’t worry if you are scared on telling the host anything you want knowledge about and besides it is not a requirement to reveal any personal information to the DJ most especially if you prefer to keep your personal life or the circumstances you are in to yourself. Aside from the fact that the host here are professionals and have a degree to show anybody who is interested, you could also feel really light and glad when you unburden yourself even to a complete stranger. Tuning in, you will soon find out that you may not be the only person to find yourself in that situations, there may be other people who are calling in with the same problem you have and in that alone –in my opinion- offers some kind of comfort for you since you know that you aren’t alone in this and also you will feel a sense of camaraderie towards these people. 

Another thing is, you get to see people with different characters and different stories to tell, some worse some hilarious, some downright crazy, and some sad. That in itself paints a new life to every program since there are different dramas you could hear on the radio only that they did happen to real people who are in a dilemma they do not know to solve. You get engrossed in listening to these people that sometimes you feel like picking up the phone and having the courage to call in yourself and sharing some of your experiences to the world.
