There are various mediums human beings use in order to channel out stress in their day to day living and one of the mostly used medium would be listening to music. There are various ways music could affect ones life- it could help you through sad times or it could signify something monumental that happened to you on one moment in your life or it could even define every movement you make. Like in a dance, you move to the rhythm of the music- you could lose control, you could become someone you aren’t, you could fall in love, or you could explode at that one moment when a particular song is being played on the radio. 

Have you ever had that feeling, wherein you lose all inhibitions and just free yourself, sway your hips or just fantasize away at the every song’s lyrics? Yes, I have in fact felt that and it is pretty addictive. It is no wonder why many people own various technologies that come as a medium to portably carry music in their system like radios, iPods, mp3 Players, and many various there is in this fast evolving world. It is easy to blame the music on how people nowadays sometimes so maudlin or even moody since something in the tone or the lyrics affect listeners greatly. It can be explained scientifically why some tunes affect our mind, sometimes making us slaves to the songs atmosphere. Sometimes is has to do with how one experience is so much like the lyrics of the song, and sometimes it is just the depth of the song coupled with its tune that affects a listener. You could say that the effect of the song to the masses is how a musician is graded. That is the main reason why there is music, to touch a maelstrom of emotions that are locked up in you and show it for all of the world to see. It is not simple to be a musician, it is a business career as much as a hobby of passion, and for one to make it to the top, ones creation must become popularly know amongst the masses. 

Sometimes even, when you are caught off guard- with the help of great music, you become unaware that you are moving to its beat. With simple gestures like tapping your feat to the beat or humming to the tune or swaying your hips a bit or tapping a stick as if you were your own drummer. Music has great power over people and you can see how great the influence it has on almost all creatures in this world, it has even been a part of the most sacred rituals for a long time. So it cannot come as a shock if you find yourself moving to the tune of a song, if a cobra cannot resist be hypnotized by the sound of a flutes shrilly sound then so would you. One things is for sure, music is like paint the difference is that in music the canvas is silence and when you fill that canvas you may get beautiful results by making silence dance to your tune. 

Do you enjoy listening to a radio program and have an urge to interact with the DJ and hear your voice on air. Do you feel the atmosphere whenever you listen to some interactions on a radio program? It is like you are listening in on a private conversation, right? That is what’s great with radio stations nowadays, they have interactive conversations through phone patch in order to add a little bit more spice to the program. But in order for a program to be successful what are the elements needed? Sure you have to market a certain theme for the segment but what does it take for the listeners to be really enthralled by the segment? You see music is what people mainly tune on to when they opt to turn on their radios, but with the interactive programs they also have the urge to listen to the preaches of the speaker which is more popularly known as the DJ. It wasn’t so long ago that the only reason I turn on a radio is either listen to some local news or a bit of music. But now you can be a part of the program. Especially when you hear the sexy and sultry baritone of the DJ’s on the program, it just makes you all the more want to call and just talk to that person on the other end of the radio. The DJ is mainly the captain of the ship, he or she makes sure that everything is in tip top shape from the controls to the telephone connection. Also, it is a bit hard being a DJ, aside from the fact that you have to focus on the requested songs by the listeners you also have to be careful with the switches you turn on and the levers you tinker with. There are some training on being a DJ even and also there are courses in college that are being offered to those who want to become DJ’s. More likely, if you don’t get to be the voice behind the studio mic, then you’ll get your turn as a scratcher mixing away music in popular clubs. 

You can’t begin to imagine managing those controls, but it is fun being a DJ. Aside from having local fame, you also get to advice or help people who call your program. There is a lot to consider if you go into that kind of business. Not only do you have to be at least knowledgeable technically but you also have to steel your voice in order for it to project the right emotions called for in a situation. Just like in acting you need to listen to you voice when in different emotions as actors look at their faces in the mirror in order to see if they have the right look when displaying different emotions. At the end of the day it will all be worth it because in every phone call, you will have the chance to help somebody, not only with their song requests but also just conversing with them. 

In the longest time human instincts have been driven by the oldest sort of urge there was since the beginning of time. Even with the animals it has been known that the mating dance is performed by two individuals who are willing to commit to one another if not for a span of time then for the rest of their lives- till death do us part, as they might say. And in every ritual it is- has always been accompanied by songs that are in one way or the other composed rhythmically to accommodate these ceremonies. These urges are mostly explainable scientifically as much as psychologically and emotionally and until now there are still researches about these instinctive urges. 

One particular species being focussed on by scientist are the penguins. In their mating dance- like humans they search out a prospective mate and spend time with them like going on a date. Male penguins sing their own particular mating calls and it is the same as most animals. It’s little wonder why humans become enthralled to jive to the rhythm of the music. Depending on the kind of music, humans are known to have particularly become more intimate with the help of music. It isn’t a wonder- even- that many people nowadays make quite a lot of money in composing and producing songs about love, be it sad or happy or sultry. There are even songs that describe the intimacies and various emotions one experience in love and mostly if not all the composers who made some of the most popular songs in time have experienced these intimacies themselves. It is a little bit like play writing but the difference is you sing it more likely than you watch it. It is better like that so that people hum to the tune of the song and it will most likely be remembered than a few lines from a movie. 

Music as much as particularly love songs have been a part of the most historical and ancient ceremonies ever known to man. And it has helped a lot of people be it with their problems or in fun times with the people you love. It also has provided us and has been the source of entertainment for man. I truly stand by the quote from a song which is “Thank you for the music” because probably without music some if not many may have gone out of their minds. And it may also be a source of comfort, no? And also music can become a therapy for battered souls. In a certain level of thinking, it also gives us the chance to improve our moods and our views in life. You may not be aware of it but music has probably helped you more than you know. What with encouraging lyrics and with a good rhythm, I am sure that you could probably make those words an example that with life you can dance through all the problems and hurdles as long as you make the most of it and hum a little tune.

As I have said when I was a kid it was letters and then as I grew in my teens it became telephone pals with the help of radio stations, and then now with the modern technology- the internet and mobile phones. But the fact is that up until now dating programs on various radio stations are still in for some people even with the teens of this generation. I actually talked to a DJ about this, asking why there are so many callers when you could probably just find those kinds of services on the internet. 

The DJ told me that many find it interesting because it’s interactive and it’s really romantic that you could find love on air. The DJ even finds it satisfying because she felt like a matchmaker and at the same time her segment is really hitting it off the bat. I tuned into her segment and found myself quite engrossed at what’s happening, it turns out that listeners call the radio station and request a song and then ask if he or she could leave his or her number or email to see if anybody is interested to get to know him or her. Even now there are those who really get to talk to the opposite sex through a patch up being arranged by the DJ. As you probably reduced, there are many people in this world who would be ecstatic to find the person they’re meant to spend their life with. You could be one of them if you make the effort to look for love.

Do you know how many people listen to radios nowadays even though there's internet and may other technologies that could provide more convenient way to listen to music like iPods or an mp3 players and many other and will to come just for the sole purpose of giving convenience to the masses. But, really? Why do people still tune in to radio stations? Also when it comes to the programs, it needs to have a fun atmosphere so the listeners enjoy the station or segment. It is rather moot to air a segment with a host with no emotional attachment whatsoever when delivering his piece to the masses and with a program that will bore anybody to tears. So make sure that during this segment there will be interaction and light bantering. One of the successful segments in almost all radio stations in the world has a relation to love or finding love. Tuning in to radio stations can be an all in one opportunity. Why? Simply because in an interactive program you could call the station and leave a number just in case someone wants to know you better and you might not know that one of those who are interested to meet you might be your prince charming or Cinderella. 

Would it help if you had voice lessons? It would help a great deal of a lot but not if you don’t have anything more to offer than a great voice. In voice lesson, not only do they teach you how to hit notes but also how to pronounce more clearly words and how to give a distinctive or signature voice for the listeners to hear. It is not really hard as long as you have a determination and will to pursue your dream if you want to become a DJ. It is because music has been known to lift up and control or at least drive emotions from people and one way or another, without music life would most probably colorless and bleak. Just remember that with music you could either uplift some heartbroken soul or help reminisce memories of the past for some group of friends. So, as a public figure it is up to you to do great in what you do and also enjoy what you are doing by remembering that emotions may travel through your voice and if ever you undergo strain they may hear it and might tune on to another station.
